Description
Penny will lead a 12 week throwing class for people looking to develop their throwing skills. Ideally participants will already have some wheel throwing experience as this course is looking to push you to the next level rather than to introduce you to the basics.
There will only be 8 people in the class and participants will have to opportunity to use our excellent Shimpo electric wheels as well as our two McMeekin Momentum wheels.
Course fees include clay and glazes but firings are additional and are charged at £3.60/litre (equivalent to a large mug)
About Penny
After my first career teaching and then teacher training in various countries, I discovered my passion for pottery. Completing an apprenticeship with potter Chris White at Hookshouse Pottery then enabled me to set up for myself as a potter and pottery teacher. I make functional, stoneware pottery for the home and garden which I fire in both an electric and a soda wood kiln.
