Every year we run a programme of ceramics classes for potters and budding potters of all abilities. The class terms start in January, April and September. Terms are 12 weeks long and (usually) have a half term break to correspond with the local school calendars. The classes are run by Adrian Bates and cover a range of making techniques, processes and methods involved in throwing pots on the wheel as well as hand building. Classes are open to adults (over 16 years of age) and no previous experience working with clay is required.
Please note that classes are limited to 12 people and they book up extremely fast.
Those on the mailing list will have advanced warning of the classes.
